2. Scope
This notice applies to visitors of btdigital.eu, users of the contact and quotation request form, persons contacting BT Digital by e-mail or telephone, and natural-person contacts of clients and business partners.
The website does not normally request special categories of personal data. Please do not submit health data, passwords, API keys, private keys, payment card data or other unnecessary confidential information through the form.
3. Processing activities
3.1 Website operation and security
Purpose: secure and stable operation, troubleshooting, prevention of abuse.
Data: technical server and security logs (timestamp, requested resource, HTTP status, technical browser/device data).
Legal basis: legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: normally up to 30 days; data relating to a specific security incident may be kept for as long as needed to investigate it.
3.2 Contact and quotation requests
Purpose: responding to the enquiry, understanding the requested project, preparing a quotation or project proposal.
Data: name, e-mail, optional company, telephone number, project type, budget range, expected start, non-sensitive information on an existing system, referral source, and the message itself.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where you act on your own behalf as a prospective party to a contract; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where you act as a contact for an organisation.
Retention: where no contract is concluded, up to 183 days from the last substantive communication, followed by deletion or anonymisation unless a legal claim or another documented reason requires a longer period. If a contract is concluded, the necessary data is transferred to the relevant client and contract records.
Consequence of not providing data: without the required fields (name, e-mail, project type, message, acknowledgement of this notice) the enquiry cannot be submitted.
Submitting the form does not create a contract, does not accept an order and does not create an automatic service or availability commitment.
3.3 Direct e-mail and telephone communication
Enquiries received by e-mail or telephone are processed for the same purpose as above. Calls are not recorded by default.
3.4 Contracts, project delivery and invoicing
Where a contract is concluded, the necessary contact, project and billing data is processed to perform the contract and to comply with accounting and tax obligations, under Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.
3.5 Newsletter and marketing
BT Digital does not currently operate a newsletter, and using the contact form does not subscribe you to any list. If this changes, subscription will always use a separate, optional, unticked consent.
3.6 Cookies and analytics
Cookie usage and third-party requests are detailed in the Cookie Notice. Non-essential analytics only start after your consent.

This table is updated as further providers are audited. A developer or professional partner supporting BT Digital may receive access only to the extent required for the task, subject to confidentiality.
5. Generative AI
Contact form submissions, client data and credentials are not forwarded to a generative AI provider by default. Any future change requires a separate data-flow review and an update to this notice.
6. International transfers
Use of Google Analytics may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; where this applies, we rely on the safeguards provided by that processor (e.g. EU-based processing, standard contractual clauses).
7. Security
BT Digital applies risk-appropriate measures including HTTPS, role-based access, secret management, security updates, backups, logging and incident handling.
8. Data subject rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure (where applicable), restriction, and portability where applicable, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests may be sent to the privacy contact above; reasonable identity verification may be required.

10. Automated decisions
The public enquiry process does not involve a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
